In Spain, the admission criteria vary from University to University. Each university has its admission criteria-testing that will value the motivation and soft skills of students. However, in general terms and differently to Anglo-Saxon countries, admission is considered more holistically.
Students from IB and European Union education systems go through an accreditation process, meaning they need to obtain the credentials issued by UNEDasiss (public institution linked to the Spanish Ministry of Education). This is generally a quick and easy process that can be completed in a few weeks.
However, students from other education systems are to follow a homologation process that may take around 4 months to complete.
